Healing Scriptures Not Seen Before by Dr. Jay Snell

There are many great healing scriptures. Sometimes, however, you run across one that you have not seen before. Or if you have seen it, God simply has not yet quickened it (made it come alive) for you. Then he quickens it for you and you see complete new revelations in it that you have never seen before. Isaiah reveals one of these hidden, healing Scriptures to us.

Isa 57:19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him. (KJV)

Who is the person who is afar off? Who is the person who is near? To answer the above question, we must understand the same identical words, terms and/or phrases that are used to describe the Abrahamic Seed Group in the Old Testament (the saved Jews) also describe the Abrahamic Seed Group in the New Testament (the saved Jews with saved Gentile Christians grafted in.)

(We call the Abrahamic Seed Group Jews in the Old Testament, but we call them Christians in the Old Testament.)

This is the same identical group of people in both Testaments. In the New, however, Gentile Christians are simply grafted into the Old Testament Group.) Because of this Gentile Christian grafting, the same words, terms and /or descriptive phrases are used to describe the same Abrahamic Seed Group in both Testaments.

One of the words, terms and/or descriptive phrases used to identify the Abrahamic Seed Group in the Old Testament was the expression near. Conversely, the Gentiles in the Old Testament were referred to as far off.

This resulted in the existence of two distinct groups of people in the Old Testament era. Saved Jews composed the first group, the near group. Unsaved Gentiles made up the second group, the far group.

Keep in mind as we progress here, that healing belongs only to the near group. It did not belong to the Gentile far group until Jesus becomes the peace between the two groups.

Also remember in our verse above, Isa 57:19, that we are watching closely just two terms: near and far. Again, the person near is the Jew in the Old Testament. The person who is far off is the Gentile in the Old Testament.

These same two terms (near and far off) are also used by Paul in the New Testament in Ephesians. But here we see Gentile Christians transferred from the far off group into the near group by grafting.

Eph 2:13-14 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle (KJV)

In other words, the blood of Christ, when accepted by Gentiles, forces an instantaneous, supernatural transfer of us Gentiles from one group to the other. We are supernaturally snatched from the far off group and supernaturally place equally into the near group!

Now during the Christian era, these two groups, the far off and the near, are merged into just one group, the near group. From Jesus' death onward, Gentiles who receive Christ are grafted into the near group right along with the saved Jews. Furthermore, we Gentile Christians stand in this group on an equal footing with the Jews and we participate in the Abrahamic blessing of healing.

We both now make up the near group, known as the Abrahamic Seed Group and are both promised healing from the hand of God.

The point is this; God will now heal the far off person as well as the near person because we Gentile Christians are no longer far off. We Gentile Christian have been brought into the near group by grafting.

No wonder Isaiah 57:19 said above, "I will heal him." Why not? God promised healing in the Abrahamic covenant to both Jew and Gentile. No wonder Isaiah saw this and recorded it for us.

Now you can see that Christian healing traces its roots to the Old Testament and to the Jews themselves.

Learn the terms, words, and/or descriptive phrases of the Abrahamic Seed Group in both Testaments and you will have an understanding of what belongs to you that you never had before.

Practical Steps To Obtaing Bible Healing by Dr. Jay Snell

There are promises of healing throughout the Bible. There are also practical steps to obtain our healing. Three of these practical steps are found in the following scripture.

Prov 3:7-8 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. 8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. (KJV)

(1) Be not wise in your own eyes. (2) Fear the Lord. (3) Depart from evil. These three things produce "health to thy navel and marrow to thy bones."

These three things shall be health for us throughout our being. To our navel and to the marrow of our bones signifies a complete, thorough health.

These three things must go together. Do not eliminate any one of them and depend on just the other two. Do not remove two of them and depend on just one of them. Obey these words to the fullest. Utilize all three steps. Then it shall be health to thy navel and marrow to thy bones.

Then in the verse below, we find some encouraging words concerning our healing as it relates to our station in life.

Jer 30:17 17 For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after. (KJV)

Jeremiah 30:17 is one of the most faith-building Scripture in the entire Bible. It speaks of something that keeps professional counselors in business; it speaks of total rejection. It describes a people rejected to the point of being called Outcast. It speaks of the rejection of a people, so thorough and final, that no one ever sought after them to find out what went so very wrong for them.

In other words, God says to us that even if we are called Outcast by those around us, He will still heal us. Even if we dwell on the wrong side of the tracks, He will still heal us. He says to us here that no matter who we are, He will still heal us.

He says to that no matter where we are from, He will still heal us. He says that no matter where we live, He will still heal us. We may be in such a state that "no man will ever seek after us." No matter! He will still heal us.

God says that He will restore our health to us. He also says that he will heal us of our wounds. Thanks be unto God! He gave us a healing Jesus.

Who Stole The Spirit Of Christmas? by Nicola Bullimore

Once again it is the time of year where it is impossible to forget that Christmas is just around the corner, we see advertising on our TV's, in the shops, on the radio and we read about it in magazines and newspapers, but what is Christmas all about? How have things changed since the time that Christmas began?

Originally Christmas was all about Christians celebrating the birth of Jesus, now it has become a time where the kids are looking forward to seeing what Santa has left for them in their Christmas stockings and under the Christmas tree.

Santa Claus (St. Nicholas) was a wealthy man who gave gifts to poor who were struggling financially, however, he didn't want them to know where the gifts had come from, so he gave in such a way so the folk would find his gifts but not know who gave them, hence the myth about Father Christmas.

However, for many people nowadays, Christmas has become a time where families worry about the cost of Christmas rather than looking forward to the occasion. The temptation to take out loans and credit cards can prove to be irresistible with the thought of Christmas costs looming and how they are going to afford it.

Having said that, people do like to celebrate Christmas, it is a time for families, parties and celebrations, however, the costs involved are still a major factor of the celebrations. The purchasing of decorations, food, drink and spending on travel all adds to the cost proving that Christmas is the most expensive time of year for families in the UK.

The Association of Payment Clearing Services (Apacs) said they expect the total UK spending in December to be a staggering £48.7bn, a rise of 11% on last years spend in that one month!

Free debt advice agencies such as Payplan (www.payplan.com) say that the amount of enquiries they usually experience in December is significantly less in comparison to other months throughout the year, however February is the time they receive the highest amount of enquiries, due to debtors denying the true cost of Christmas until they realise their finances have been crippled.

The figures reflect what happens in the credit industry in the months surrounding December. People take out loans or spend on credit cards in order to keep up with the costs of Christmas and then look for ways to deal with their finances in the New Year. A survey conducted by Payplan in 2003 showed that over 45% of people were still paying for presents bought in 2002.

Already people who use debt forums are talking about how they are feeling the pressure of Christmas and looking for ways to ease the stress and find ways to cope with Christmas costs without adding to their existing debt problems. "It's just a bit of a depressing time for people trapped in debt!!" said one poster, "The true sprit of Christmas has been hijacked by marketing and advertising people and whipped into a three months spending frenzy " said another.

Marketing and advertising make their job of easing the costs very difficult, but they are determined not to get into more financial difficulty because of the price tag on Christmas, "I have been buying stocking fillers for the children in sales when I see them and I have told all family my limit is £5 each as they are token gifts and its the thought that counts. All my family have more disposable income than I do. So with such a small budget I have been doing alot of shopping around. "

Christmas needs to be a time to put smiles on peoples faces, not to cause stress and difficulty in trying to keep up with all the costs put before them in order to enjoy, what should be a happy occasion. "Christmas is about family and I hope my family understand that it is better to have a token gift rather than get me in debt again."
